Update Presentations Flash Drive for

Proceedings Flash Drive Update Options

After the contents of your VoiceCon Orlando Proceedings Flash Drive were finalized a handful of new and updated presentations have been added to the proceedings. There are a couple of ways to update your Flash Drive.

  1. Easy and Available Anywhere: Download the Installer: If you’re using Windows and the VoiceCon Presentations Flash Drive shows up as Drive E: when you install it, download out automated update installer
  2. Available to Anyone: Download the Zipped Update Contents: If you’re using a different operating system or the Flash Drive appears on your Windows computer with Drive letter other than E: download our zip file and update your drive with a couple of quick drag and drop operations,

Easy and Available Anywhere: Download the Installer:

Requires a Windows computer and that the Flash Drive be recognized as Drive E: when inserted. If not, use one of the other two update methods.

  1. Download the update installer program update-voicecon-flash-drive.exe (You will need to enter the presentations username and password you were given at registration).
  2. Insert your VoiceCon Orlando Documentation Flash Drive in a USB Port on your computer.
  3. When the Autostart Dialog for “VoiceCon Orlando Documentation (E:)” appears, hit the “Cancel” button. Note: If your Flash Drive shows up with a different drive letter than (E:), you will need to use one of our other update methods.
  4. Find and double-click the “update-voicecon-flash-drive.exe” application you downloaded. Hit the “Next” button, wait for the files to transfer, hit “Finish”, and you’re ready to go. You can remove your fully updated VoiceCon Orlando Documentation Flash Drive.

Available to Anyone: Download the Zipped Update Contents:

  1. Download the update archive file update-voicecon08-flash-drive.zip. (You will need to enter the presentations username and password you were given at registration.)
  2. Unzip.
  3. Insert your VoiceCon Orlando Documentation Flash Drive in the USB Port.
  4. When the Autostart Dialog for “VoiceCon Orlando Documentation (E:)” appears, hit the “Cancel” button.
  5. Drag the file “view-proceedings.html” from the unzipped contents of the update file to the main directory of the VoiceCon Orlando Documentation Flash drive.
  6. Open the folder named “Autops” from the unzipped contents of the update file and drag all of its contents onto the folder named “Autops” on your VoiceCon Orlando Documentation Flash drive. If asked whether you want to replace existing files of the same name, say “yes”
